I liked it before and like it even better now. The tweaks are all improvements as far as I can tell, notably moving the logo above the navigation was a good move (I think I may have complained about that before). You guys were using sifr before weren't you? Have you dropped it?

Not sure what it is, but it has a little bit of a park page feel to it. You know, like this: http://runningmusic.com/

It is better obviously, but at a glance it has that feel. The links in the left could really use a hover state. You know they are links, but they just don't feel active. I'd also bump up the size as @billso has hinted. Making it wider, increasing the size of the banner images, giving it larger headlines would all help shed the park page feel and make it feel more modern as well.

I mostly agree. The design does a good job of balancing kid appeal with a university template, but I think they could have done a better job of separating the audiences and speaking more directly to them. The kid pages were wordy and buried a lot of the interactive content on the site. I think they missed an opportunity there. They seem to have done a better job on the teacher sections.
