A clean simple design! Great images on the banner. It seems easy to navigate and I like the larger typography.
The colors and layout are pleasing to the eye, but the font sizes (especially in the banner) are much too large. When evaluated for accessibility using WAVE and the FAE the site scores 100% in 4 out of 5 categories. The biggest shortcoming is in navigation; the home page contains 4 empty links, and 19% of the site's pages are not functionally accessible.
Agree that the type is too large. There is also a lot of poor type treatment throughout the featured area items on the homepage. On detail pages labeling the left nav with "NAVIGATION" in all caps seems counter-productive, giving the user one more large item in the way of what is obviously the navigation.
