great redesign!

I like the use of photography.

What a difference! I like the web 2.0 feel, but still needs more interactive components.

Very simple design but I like it. I'm assuming since it was just launched they are probably going to be adding more features.

I heard it took them less than 4 months to design this website completely from scratch. GOod Job! Are you planning on adding videos or any interactive components?

It's very easy to navigate. I like the simple architecture.

GREAT JOB MAGGIE ON THE SITE!

Still needs a lot of work, but it's a very good start!

Maggie, this website should win an award just because of all this hardwork that you put into this project. Was it worth it?

I like how each college has a different 'look and feel' and the photography is very creative and artistic.

I agree the photography looks very interesting and the site architecture was planned very well. I can't believe this was only done in 4 months. Congratulations to the web team.

UGH!!! The majority of these comments are from users who were apparently recruited to come in and say all sorts of nice things about this site. This makes 2 sites that should never have received this many votes. This is ridiculous. 38 TU votes for this piece?

Unbelievable. What's the point of getting all of your friends to vote for your site, get it to noteworthy status, and then what? You advertise your hollow noteworthiness as part of your sales pitch?

Ditto @ericstoller.

If your goal is to market your design chops, then maybe this is the place to do it. If it's to market your school, winning awards or accolades for your website isn't the way to do it. Thumbs down for a mediocre site and an overt attempt to get attention.

This new "recruiting" trend on edustlye is growing tiresome.

Thumbs down for all the reasons ericstoller and chasgrundy said. Shame on you.

I like the photography because it has a unique look compared to many other higherEd sites. I’m so tired of seeing pictures of students sitting behind a desk in a boring classroom or holding a diploma. I think the photography would have been more effective if it was used better throughout the design. There are only few template design variations (other than home pages, all the interior pages look the same). The interior navigation on the culinary pages needs work and it should be more visible. Also, the site should be better optimized for search engine rankings. How old is the site? Was this just launched recently? It’s a clean, simple design so you have a lot of opportunity for implementing new additional features.

The photographs reek of stock photography. You like them because they show a false reality. If they are not stock photos, perhaps one of the many sockpuppets above could speak to the legitimacy of said photos.

I work for the college and can tell you that these are actually pictures of our students and faculty. This is not stock photography.

I don't think it makes any since for people from the institution to comment on their work. It sort of reminds me of Microsoft in their attempt to say "Hey look we are cool too!" EduStyle is here to showcase your work and receive criticism on it good or bad.

I don't see a problem in responding to the comments on here. This is an interactive site, that's kind of the point.
