really fantastic and engaging site!
I really don't enjoy the fidgeting people. And the "pull" function isn't intuitive enough, in my opinion. It's a nice idea though - I can see they were trying to be "out of the box"
The colors are nice. I'm not a fan of the blog pages, but maybe that design appeals to a younger audience. Functionality on the blogs is nice.
I just realized I said "nice" a lot. Sorry, I'll have to come up with a new adjective. :)
I think this is fantastic! Nice design, sound, content. Well done Imperial.
Love it!
Excellent site. Really easy to use, liking the sound effects and the washing line thing visuals.
it's damn brilliant!
Everyone who says something different is jealous
Really like this site--it's fun and engaging. Great use of design, color, and free space at the same time. I think you may want to make the "pull" string a little more usable. You really have to find the sweet-spot to get it to work. I wonder if bloggers' efforts are paid or volunteer.
I liked the overall site design, color, and white space. Content was well laid out, and easy to read. The organization of the site worked well. However, I had a few issues:
1. The moving people were a distraction for me.
2. The pull string concept wasn't something I liked, just didn't work for me.
3. I turned off JavaScript, and liked the overall look better, rather than the sliding clothesline. But with JavaScript turned off, there was no access to the "Latest posts" section on the home page which displayed the message "This feature requires JavaScript".
I really wish that your server wasn't down when I had gone to do my voting, and I hope that didn't cost too many votes for you guys at Imperial.
This page is simply fantastic! And I love the extra effort in creating an HTML version. Great job!
YES!
Love this! Excellent way of engaging students and having students tell real stories, instead of typical testimonials found on many higher-ed sites. Love the interactivity here as well!
Wondering though, how they choose the bloggers? Is there an incentive giving out to get students to blog? Is it a contest to choose the right bloggers? Are they voted in by their peers? Would help to know that on the site... :)
