The site was pretty good before. This refresh has really tidied up some of the stuff that wasn't working.
The logo treatment is much better although I'm not sure I totally agree with the placement. My eye expects to see it above the navigation, not below.
My other complaint is the use of flash in the headings. It is a clever way to get the heading font, but I couldn't scroll or click anything until all of the flash elements on the page had loaded. It seems a little resource intensive. You might consider scaling it back to just the primary heading.
Anyway, with all that the site is still great and gets a thumbs up from me.
I liked the segmentation navigation on the home page (left) and really liked that they were using real photos instead of stock. It's also a clean site overall - the footer maybe being a little too big.
Awesome, I love that they managed to include a ton of links on the main page and yet it still doesn't overwhelm me.
Design is not bad. Wish the logo for the university was a little bit larger to be noticed. The placement might help as well with getting noticed. Felt like the pager scroll bar should be below the thumbnails instead of above as through strict conditioning we expect the scrollbar below content that we want to scroll. TU but just a few nag points.
