very nice. nice background (it's a little thing, but adds a lot of flare to the site).

also the phone number is pure text, good for SEO.

the icons/pop.out.buttons are well designed to match the site.

I like the design, but the underlying code is a mash of tables for layout.

The page reads like an ad to me. Which it is, of course, but it's pretty blatant about it, right down to the prominently featured cleavage in the header image. That would be inappropriate at many institutions. But yeah, nice colors and textures and typography.

bricoleur read my mind :-) I totally agree.

However, cleavage has been in almost every facet of advertising since the 50's ... just how it is.

I love the bright, clean use of color and uniqueness of the site... the one thing that bothered me was the search box going right over the guy's face. I would have moved the people over to the left to avoid that or move the search box down.

The cleavage wasn't overt enough to catch my attention as an issue... it doesn't seem inappropriate to me, it's not like she's popping out of her top or anything indecent. I thought it was a unique angle, nothing more, perhaps I'm just naive.

The word "cute" comes to mind... and with it, a question: is this an all-girls college? You certainly get that feeling by looking at the site, no? Women are in virtually every photo. The "token male" gets the "search bar treatment" and the site has a very "bubbly" feel.

I do hope some very smart marketing people were behind that decision...

Thumbnail looks nice, but the site is redirecting...
