We’re pleased to announce the winners of the 6th annual eduStyle Awards. Each year hundreds of sites are submitted for consideration in the eduStyle Awards. From the hundreds of submissions this year, 69 nominees were selected in 18 categories. These categories include aspects of web design like photography, social media and interactivity. The top level prizes include best homepage, best redesign and best overall website. A total of 52 schools were recognized as nominees with the final list of winners narrowing to 19 schools.
The quality of websites in higher ed has increased considerably over the 6 years since we launched the eduStyle Awards. Each year it gets harder to narrow from submission to nominee to winner. It has been an awesome transformation and we’ve been honored to be a part of it and try to recognize it.
This year, Kenyon College won the top prize of Best Overall Website in both the People’s Choice and Judged categories. The judges were particularly impressed with the high level of quality across all of the top level sections of the site. In addition to excellent design across each of the primary sections of the website, the site also worked beautifully across devices. Delivering a website with such a high level of execution so comprehensively in higher ed deserves recognition and we’re pleased to add Keyon to the list of Best Overall Website winners. Congrats to everyone involved in the planning, design, deployment and maintenance of the site.
We encourage you to view the entire list of 24 winners from the remaining categories. They are all simply incredible and deserve all the recognition they can get.
