eduStyle is a web design gallery dedicated to higher education websites and powered by higher education web design professionals. Users submit, review, and comment on sites they like (or don't like). The aim is for higher ed web professionals to learn from and be inspired by the work of their peers. Once a month two sites are selected as Noteworthy based on user votes and feedback.
eduStyle celebrated its one-year anniversary on January 24, 2008. In the last year over 700 higher-ed websites have been submitted to the gallery, and more than 2,000 visitors come to eduStyle each month.
I earned my Diploma in Multimedia Production from Lethbridge College in 2001 where I graduated with honors. Following graduation I spent spent 3 years at Athabasca University, Canada's leading online and distance education university, working in various positions including Coordinator of University Web Integration. Most recently, I worked as the Manager of Web Services for Grant MacEwan College. You can see some of my work on my portfolio site.
As the founder of eduStyle I have had the opportunity to get a good look at the latest trends in higher ed web design and have conducted several interviews with the schools and companies involved in some of the most interesting redesigns of 2007. I have a firm interest in spreading awareness of best practices and drawing attention to high quality web design in higher ed.
